Tango Bliss is...
The definitions of what "Tango Bliss" is vary as much as the personalities of the Tangueros do. Perhaps their common denominator is that there is always something magical to it...
Tango Bliss is...
1. To dance with the person I love, and experience a uniquely strong emotion and timeless bond
2. To dance with a complete stranger, and discover, by our understanding of the Tango, that, in at least one way, we are kindred spirits
3. To close my eyes and forget where I am, letting my body go, completely in trance with the music
4. To feel such spark of energy in my body that suddenly my legs, my arms, my torso can move through an incredibly strong connection with the music and my partner
5. To sit quietly, with my eyes closed, listening to the music, to the beat and the strings, and the sad song of the bandoneón, savoring the lyrics and remembering
6. To step in the hall where a Milonga takes place, and hear the sounds of my favorite Tango playing in the background, and feel my heart suddenly beats along with its notes
7. To walk around the city streets, and feel my body jump when I recognize the sounds of a Tango being brought to me, from far away, by the wind
8. Feeling young, and beautiful, and alive, turning and moving with the music, carried away by a magical force that I cannot fully comprehend
9. Realizing that I *am* finally dancing for the first time, that all those hours of lessons and practice are suddenly coming to life through a smooth string of moves that flow with the music that takes over my whole body
10. To get that wonderful high boleo to perfectly marry the stroke of a bandoneón
11. To swim in a sea of Comme-Il-Fauts...
12. Mmmmmm.... Miles' blog?

Tango bliss is when Mi Amor takes the lid off his grill to allow the scent of beef waft to my nose while at the SAME time Alberto Castillo's voice tickles my ears from the CD player. I know it's weird, but it makes me think I'm in Buenos Aires.
:-)
Wow, what a beautiful post... Those really are magical moments.
In my case, I will add:
To hear my partner laugh of joy and fun when we dance a tango "picadito" or a milonga
And
The moments when the music leads you to make no move, and embracing your partner the time seems to stop...
Very nice, Tanguera.
Besos...
